Sarah Plain Palin

The resignation of Sarah Palin as Governor of Alaska was announced on July 3, 2009 and became effective on this very day two years ago.

As Governor Palin has said multiple times, “You don’t need an office. You don’t need a title. And, you don’t need a TelePrompter to make a difference.”

She has made that statement abundantly clear over the past two years…

From the release of two best selling books, to the premiere of a TLC show that achieved record breaking ratings, to a 68% success rate of electing ‘rogue’ candidates endorsed by Governor Palin during the 2010 midterm elections, to being a Fox News contributor whom effectively has taken on the Obama administration and the disastrous policies coming from the White House, to charity work abroad, to stumping at one of the largest grassroots rallies in Washington DC, to launching a bus tour that further fueled speculation of a 2012 presidential run, to the release of documentary settling in at #15 in the all-time highest grossing debut— I’d say plain ole’ private citizen Sarah Palin has been quite the victor.

I’m sure I’ve missed some of the noteworthy accomplishments over the past two years of this ‘ordinary’ gal from Alaska but I know how badly it pains her detractors to recall the triumphs of a woman whom they hoped to effectively ruin politically.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: If I had a penny for every time Sarah Palin was pronounced politically dead; I’d be a rich woman—better yet, I could solve our nation’s debt crisis.
